Our Gentle Start
When La Pané began, we didn’t made no grand
promises. Nuh-uh, we just knew that food should
make people feel good — nourished, happy, at
ease. And the best way to get there wasn’t by
rushing or cutting corners. So we let the dough
take time. We trusted the (fermentation) process!
What surprised us was how quickly people shaped
our story. Regulars became friends. Families
treated it like their spot. As we grew, we held onto
the things that grounded us from the start: natural
processes, patience, honest ingredients, and food
that’s kind to the body. Nothing forced — just
flavour earned slowly, the way time teaches it.
Frankly Speaking
The beginnings of this little pizza place was the brainchild of exciteable Chef Justin, with the hundred and one things he wants to do, for himself, for those he love and for those all around him.
Every decision from the first pizza he let the group of us taste was crafted first with his desire to feed the lot of us. To elevate our lives with the yummy food that he is completely passionate about.
Continously so, as La Pané grows, we make new decisions on how we help the neighbourhood, grow the community and give back wherever we can. We all start as friends but we’re all family at the end ofthe day.
Serious About Pizzas
We laugh easily—especially when hauling a pizza oven up a mountain along with Bob the Beruang, for no particularly sensible reason. But the moment the dough hits the counter, the joking stops. Because while the journey up may be full of mischief, the craft that follows is taken very seriously: the fire, the dough, and the quiet focus that turns a good idea into a pizza worth the climb.
Getting Together
lingering long after the last slice—they’re the reason we do what we do. We grow alongside them, learn alongside
them, and sometimes get gently teased while perfecting every pizza with fresh, local ingredients. Every chair pulled
up, every bite shared, every laugh echoing through the room—our People fill this neighbourhood spot with warmth,
energy, and that effortless feeling of being somewhere you belong.
